Show Says Utah Foundation Nephi business activity up 18 Business volume, as measured by local sales tax receipts, increased by 18 percent in Nephi last year, according to an analysis just completed by the Utah Foundation. Gross business volume throughout the state rose by 16.3 percent in 1978. The study shows that gross sales in Nephi last year totaled $18,313 million. This compares with $15,517 million in 1977, $11,443 million in 1975, $6,398 million in 1970, and $5,666 million in 1965.
