Rosquist was born on November 15, 1886 at Ephraim to John and Sena Nielson Rosquist. He married Margaret Christina Thompson on June 12, 1909 at the Manti LDS Temple. She died on August 14, 1965. He was a farmer and sheepman. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints.
