Show Everyone has letters for that Dear Old Elf Meplhi Here are several Letters to Santa Claus selected from the hundreds that were sent in to the Chamber of Commerce project. These are among those being judged in the contest for the best letters, according to C. of C. President Dan Kostenko. Judging of the letters is progressing this week, and the first place winning kiddies photographs and their letters will be published in next weeks edition. Second and third place winning letters will also be published. Dear Santa, I hope you are well and have a good trip on Christmas Eve. I am hoping to get a tape recorder, a mouse watch, an electric Football game, and N.F.L. some games. It is not easy but I try really hard to be good!
