Show AFTER GRADUATION DINNER ALL GRAUATES time again . . . ; and some 63 students at the Juab High School will change their status from student to alum-'n- i on Friday evening. Every graduation time takes one back through the years to his or her graduation . . . and for me it was an eventful evening in the spring of 1930 at Logan High School. Exercises were held in the old Nibley Hall, where plays and exercises had been presented over the years. Logan High School then occupied the campus of the former Brigham Young College and the footsteps of the years had worn the floor in many places so much that it was silvery. I had not been in school the day the original seating had been assigned, so I ended up the last one in the processional across the stage. My shoes were worn a little thin from the school years use, and a gap (hole) in the leather sole picked up the end of a sliver. I almost did a nose-div- e into Principal George S. Bates arms. Luckily the sliver of wood gave way in time for me to keep my balance. reg soft-woo- d ... request. Broadhead, Mark Greenwood, Todd Sperry, and Cindy Bos- well. Juab students try out Harrison reading class Several students at the Juab District Elementary School have participated in a reading improvement program during the past school year. Mondays are vital days when it comes to publishing a weekly paper on Wednesday night for Thursday morning delivery. Publishers and their staffs deserve a holiday break as much as any other workers, but this Monday stuff almost prevents such a thing from happening. Anyway, well probably be in the office part of Monday to receive your news and advertising, but because of necessity, the 5 p.m. deadline (Tuesday) for news must remain in effect if were to get the paper out anywhere near on time.
