Forest Service, and Theodore (Bob) Howard, local F&G Conservation officer, guided members of the East Juab Wildlife Federation on a survey of big game winter range in the East Juab County area. The tour started at Mona North Canyon, moving south to the reseeded area near the county gravel pit north of Nephi, where Mr. Plummer pointed out the original test plots for the area. He stated that these test plots were conducted by Mr. Plummer and Edward Cox of Nephi in 1945, and resulted in the selection of this area for reseeding.
