Mr. and Mrs. John Sorenson and sons of Pleasant Grove spent Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Erhardt Bendix-en- . Other visitors over the week end at the Bendixen home were Mrs. Oneita Wade and children of Bountiful. Visitors on Fathers day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mangelson were Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Mangelson and baby of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. David Mangelson and family of Payson. Mar-tinse- Mrs. Delma Bennett of Holden visited on Wednesday of last week with Mr. and Mrs. Clark S. Wood. y Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Howarth entertained at a family dinner at their home on Fathers day. A genealogical meeting on Friday night will be in charge of Mrs. Eagar. Mrs. Edith Kahoilua returned from Hilo, Hawaii where she attended the contest for Miss Hawaii. Her daughter, Lupua, was one of the contestants and was selected as second runner-u- p to Miss Hawaii. When she was in Utah she visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Anderson and has many friends in Levan who congratulate her. Lupua will continue her educa tion in Hawaii. Mrs. Jay Worthington and family of Granger spent Friday afternoon with her grandmother, Mrs. Harry J. Irons. On Monday, Mrs. Harry J. Irons had as her guests, Mrs. Dave McFadden and daughter Michelle of Provo. Mrs. Nicholine Powell of Le-h- i is spending a week with her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Stephensen. Wilbur Greenhalgh called from Richland, Washington to wish his father a happy day. The marriage of Cathy Christensen and James L. Pritchett was performed on June 13 by Bishop Vaughn J. Paxman at the Juab Stake House. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo W. Christensen of Nephi. Mr. and Mrs, John L. Pritchett of Provo are parents of the groom. The bride chose a dress with a high neckline, long sleeves, and an Empire waist, trimmed with Alencon lace. Her train also was trimmed with lace, Her veil fell from a crown of seed pearls and tear drops. She carried a bouquet of orchids surrounded by white chrysanthemums. Attending the bride was her sister, Mrs. Brent Aagard; Mrs Harry Wilson, who could never save a penny. Raymond Lovell, Miss Linda Ingram, Mrs. Ronald Menlove and Mrs. David Christensen. Each was attired in white lace over orchid, and each carried an orchid chrysanthemum. Best man duties were per formed by Johny Pritchett. Ush ers were Michael Christensen, David Christensen and Ronald Menlove. Seated at the guest book were Mrs. Michael Christensen and Mrs. Kenneth Palmer. Girls helping with the serving were Debbie Pritchett, Cindy Swapp, Myma and Janette Tolley.
