Miller and son Jim at Modesto, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Belliston and family at Lancaster. While in California the family members got together for a family dinner at Garden Grove in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Belliston on their silver wedding anniversary. The occasion also was the birthday anniversary of their son, Vance. Mrs. J. L Belliston and her sister, Mary Brown, were there from San Diego. Gibson of Pleasant Grove spent Sunday afternoon in Nephi with relatives and friends. They attended the Nephi Second Ward Sacrament services. A practice of the Juab Stake Singing Mothers will be held on Saturday, May 4 at 3 p.m. at the Juab Stake House, according to Mrs. Norma SherStake Relief Society wood, chorister. A birthday party was given on April 25 for Hyrum Brough at his home, by his sisters, Mrs. Lutie Schofield and Mrs. Reeve Richardson. Candles and flowers and presents were in order. Barton of Nephi announce the marriage of their daughter, Barbara Ann, to James Randall Painter, son of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Painter, also of Nephi. The impressive double ring ceremony was performed April 23, 1968, by Bishop Milton T. Harmon, in the presence of immediate family members, at the Whitmore Cultural Center at 104 South Main in Nephi, which was beautifully decorated for the occasion. The bride descended the staircase to the Wedding March, being played at the organ by Ronald Richardson. She wore an afternoon dress of white lace accented with ruffles at the neck. Her bouquet was an orchid surrounded with white mums. The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. Anthony Jeffs a3 matron of honor. Marjorie Painter was bridesmaid and Molly Painter was flower girl. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Linton returned to their home on Monday. They came by plane to Salt Lake City, and were brought to Nephi by Mr. and Mrs. Ray Linton of Salt Lake City. They are reported to be recovering satisfactorily from their recent accident in Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Jarrett spent the week end in Kearns with their son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth G. Kay and family. The group sang many old favorites under the direction of Mrs. W. W. Stephenson. Rampton at his office in the State Capitol Thursday, April 23 and witnessed his signing of a proclamation designating May 1968 as Senior Citizen Month. Ferdinand state Peterson, chairman, Utah Division of the Aging, introduced the guest speaker, James Chapman, state director of Welfare.
