Other sessions will be on March 16 and 23. Each session will begin at 9 a.m. with a general assembly, and following the assembly the Scouts will go to classes where they will receive instruction in three merit badges of their choice. After the class periods, the Scouts will be served lunch on campus. Approximately 1500 boys are expected to attend and to receive instruction in 53 different merit badges. Leading the instruction will be 140 BYU professors, teachers and students. Local Scout officials are inviting all young men Boy Scouts to attend and participate in the Pow Wow. Officials urge early registration and indication by the Scouts of the merit badge programs they elect to study. It is possible, however, for Scouts to register the morning of the PowWow. Scout masters will receive additional information and will accept registrations for the course.
