Some interesting things to note include the increases in book circulation, and the number of visitors in the past several years. Compared to 1961, 1963 saw an impressive 48 per cent increase in book circulation and a 23 per cent increase in those going to the Library. One draws the conclusion from a comparison with other libraries in communities of comparable size, that the Nephi Library is being well utilized. In most instances, the Nephi Library has had a larger increase in circultion than the others since 1961. The Library now contains 5,374 volumes and in 1963 7,379 books were taken out, representing a circulation of about 39 per cent more than the total books in the labrary. Mrs. Price reported that this is considerably higher than the figure for most libraries of the state. She also reported that the books in the library have been increased by nearly 1000 books. Enjoying the evening were Gwen Chapman, Betty Bellist-oNorma Jenkins, Joyce Memmott, Doris Parker, Veda Parkin, Marcille Jackson, Marjorie Steiner, Marba Stuart, Kendall, LaRae Jarrett, Vera Paxman, Thelma Reed, Della Dailey, Verna Wright, Jeanne Wilkey, Joyce Bracken, the hostess, Erma Carter, and the special guest, Phyllis 81.00.
