A (ft 0- - sun-bonn- Weather Delays Dedication Rites UTAH AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE, Logan The receipt of Jive handsome silver trophies at the Utah Agricultural college Is announced by Dean Kennstii C. Heeler of the school of agriculture. At the last Ogden livestock show the Agricultural club of the college was successful In winning the Salt Lake Tribune trophy for the best student stunt This consisted of an il lustrated judging demonstration, us- me -- the now famous artificial cow. "Milk of Magnesia." Four other silver trophies have been donated to the college by progressive friends of the school of agriculture. Each spring quarter Judging contest will be held In horses, beef cattle, hogs and sheep, and the winning stusknt , in., each. jclaa of stock will have his name engraved upon the respective cup. The trophies, however, will remain the permanent property of the college. JehB M. Ritchie of Charleston, Utah, long a breeder and exhibitor of high class Percheron horses, has presented a horse trophy. The cup for beef cattle wes donated by the Ogden Union Stock yards, with the Ma of creating more interest tn this phase of our agriculture. This year s plan calls for a similar improvement of the north half of Main street, and the planting of lawns and shrubs on several public building grounds. Last year the three ward meeting house grounds and the high school were improved, and this year the balance of the high school grounds are to be planted to lawn. John A. Fortie and Heber O. Cook are the committee in charge of ordering the trees and securing suit, sble soil for filling in the parking between sidewalk and curb line. Bishop Frederick Crook will have charge of removing the old trees now standing along North Main street. Mayor H. C. There were seventy-fiv- e pupils In the chorus. Lenore Pardoe, 13. played the leading feminine role, with Marvin Parker opposite. Other principal parts were taken by Francis Nielsen, Barbara Nielsen, Virginia Burrows, Carol Bradford, Oenova Mackelprang, Ralph Reed. Robert Adamson and Oeorge Cullis. The three changes of costume of the chorus were the work of students in the sewing department of the school, where ail were designed and completed under the direction of Mrs. Ruth Wheeler Moss. Miss Ireta Roy lance directed the whole production, with Miss Lena Ooldstein acting as dramatic coach and Miss Dorothy Herein ger and Miss Grace Klrkham assisting state Orace Richards, a 12- managers. year-ol- d pupil, served as pianist through all rehearsals. The proceeds of the production are to be used for purchase of a flagnole for the school and to assist in other accessories.
