Show Bazaar at Montezuma Creek schoool THE SAN Jl'AN RECORD Wednesday. November 2001 - Pay'e 17, 7 Montezuma Creek Elementary School presents the an- nual Christmas Bazaar on Friday, December 10 from 3 to 8 p.m. Booths will be $20 each and food booths are $25 each (two spaces available). Please contact Emerson Nakai or Juanita Becenti at if the school at (435) there are any questions. 651-342- 5 Military news Ryan Young & Vanessa DeGooyer Wedding announced Reg & Dee DeGooyer of Bountiful, Utah, are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Vanessa DeGooyer to Ryan Young, son of Steve and Carma Young of Monticello, Utah. Ryan and Vanessa will be married at The Gardners Village in West Jordan on November 20, 2004 and will make their home in Salt Lake. Family and friends are invited to attend a wedding re celebration at ception Gardners Village at The Gathering Place, 6:00 - 9:00 pm on Saturday, November 20, 2004. A local reception will be held in their honor at The Lamplight, in Monticello, 7:00 8:30 pm on Friday, November 26, 2004. All who would like to join in the festivities are welcome to come out to the reception and join in the celebra- tion of Ryan and Vanessas wedding. Army National Guard Pvt. Jeffrey S. Hatcher has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, S.C. During the nine weeks of training, he studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, military justice system, basic first aid, and field training. Hatcher is the son of Keith Hatcher of Blanding, Utah. He is currently attending San Juan High School. 50th wedding anniversary Steve and Bonnie Meyer of Blanding will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends on November 27 at the Blanding North LDS Church Cultural Hall from 7 to 8 p.m. They were married working at the motel, managing the Meyer household and participating in the activities of her children and grandchildren. They have nine children: Steven (Emalee) Meyer, of Tremonton, on Utah; Laurie November 19, (Rex) Kay, of 1954 in the Goshen, Manti Temple of the Church Utah; Joyce (Jeff) Brown, of Richfield, of Jesus Christ of Lat-- t e r - d a y Saints. Utah; Scott (Wendy)of Meyer, Steve Blanding; Rick (Jonna) of Mever, worked for the San Juan County Road Depa rtment B J and UDOT; he retired ( af- a m Sh ur e re s 1 Meyer, ter working for UDOT for 12 years in 1987. OF THE landing; Steve may have retired but he has not stopped working, staying busy with his two loves -his farm and old cars.
