Food drive to begin today Student volunteers from the College of Eastern Utah-San Juan Campus will be knocking on doors November 17 starting at 6 p.m. to collect Thanksgiving food items for needy fami- lies. In their annual food drive, the students hope to collect enough canned goods and holi-da- y food items to deliver Thanksgiving food packages to needy families in the area including Montezuma Creek and Monument Valley. To make collections easier, residents may leave canned-goo- d donations on their doorsteps or drop them off at the CEU-SJStudent Life Center. This year, the Utah State University Youth and Families with Promise program will join Helicopter pilot named Top Gun Howell, an Apache Helicopter fighter pilot, is recognized as Top Gun for his Battalion. In order to qualify for the Top Gun status, a pilot is tested in several areas includ- Saturday as many as 10 gunneries on that range.
