Dean is the son of Ethel Butler and the late Claude Butler of Monticello. Cynthia Watrous, daughter of Dean and Rita, along with her children, Dana and Travis, 3rd WkW' from Colorado Springs, Colo- rado, also attended the celebration. Jody Hurst has completed all the requirements to earn her AIM Level 10 certification. AIM stands for Achievement In Music. It is a testing pro- gram administered by the Utah State Music Teachers Association. Students attempt to pass one level per year, being required to test in perfor- ear mance, training, technique, theory, sight ing, and cre-- a t i read- e v musicianship.
