First place winners in the record book division each received a check for $35. Jack Young, owner of the Monticello Movies was honored with a plaque as the Outstanding Business support for 1999. Young donated a large number of awards to assist the program in promoting the Pop Tabs for Kids service project conducted by the Monticello Teen Council. Howard Dee received an award for his work with the 21st Century Learning Center in Monument Valley and the exceptional work the group has done to promote in 4-- contest participants, Haley Howell, Kenneth 4-- winners were JJ Grover, Karah Shumway, Tiarah Shumway, Alyssa Redshaw and Jody Paul.
