The pavilion is patterned after one in the Mancos, Colorado cemetery. It became a reality with generous donations from various individuals and businesses. Future plans include a display of grave sites on the north side of the road. A volunteer is needed to help coordinate this project. Monticello received 4" of snow each on November 16 and 17.
