Show THE SAN JUAN RECORD Exhibit grant for Natural Bridges Wednesday June 21, 1995 - Page Natural Bridges National Monument has been awarded a $10,000 challenge grant from the National Park Foundation to help complete new exhibits for its visitor center. The new exhibits, slated for construction and installation in early 1996, highlight the unique geo- logic conditions that resulted in the formation of three of the most outstanding natural bridges in the world. They also tell an equally compelling story of ancient inhabitants (Anasazi) and the need to protect the irreplaceable treasures left behind by these resourceful people. In awarding this grant to Natural Bridges, Utahs Donald oldest National Park Service area, the Foundation joins other partners, including the Canyonlands Natural History Association and the Natural Arch and Bridge Society.
