For more information, call SUMMARY: The Education Division Director is responsible for the management of the Education Divisions activities ensuring that all eligible Utah Navajos are provided an opportunity to receive benefits for those services. The Education Director is to utilize to the maximum degree possible the financial and human resources available in managing the division's activities within the established policies of UNDC. The Education Director is responsible for maintaining a competent staff to conduct programs, plans for their further development and training. HeShe coordinates the activities of the division's staff and assists them as needed in carrying out their roles. 1. Administers the Education DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Division so that all eligible Utah Navajos receive services from the UNDC education programs as funds will allow. 2. Plans, develops, organizes, and staffs division programs in accordance with UNDC goals. 3. Prepares budgets for the Education Division and its programs. Authorizes expenditures from the budgets in accordance with policies and procedures. Clears all personnel changes with the UNDC Administration. 4. Recruits and employs competent individuals to manage the various education programs in compliance with the Navajo Employment Preference Laws. 5. Counsels staff to provide quality services to eligible Utah Navajo clients recognizing the traditional Navajo culture, customs, life style and educational needs. 6. Communicates to the division staff the UNDC goals, policies, procedures, and expectations. 7. Evaluates the performance of each 8.
