Show THE SAN JUAN RECORD Wednesday November 7, 1990 - Page 20 Talent show A Community Talent Show will be held Friday, November 16, at 7 p.m. at the Monument Valley High School. The talent show is sponsored by the MVHS Student Council, and there is a nominal admission fee. Cash awards of $100, $50, and $25 will be given to the top three acts. Any group or individual is invited to participate. However, all acts must audition on November 9 between 4 and 7 p.m. at the high school auditorium, and 15 acts will be selected. Attention veterans A Veterans of Foreign Wars field service officer from Salt Lake City will be in Blanding on Thursday, November 15, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Job Service Center. He will assist veterans and their dependents in applying for VA benefits such as compensation, pen- sion, hospitalization, and education. The representative will be in Monticello at the courthouse beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 15. The Social Security representative is in Cortez every Monday and Tuesday (except holidays) from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the Johnson Building, room 160, 925 South Broadway.
