Arraignment continued to November 8 for Jeffery Glen McDonald, charged with unlawful purchase, posses- sion, or consumption of alcohol by minors, a class A misdemeanor, and with speeding, a class B misde- meanor. Kenneth James Brown waived preliminary hearing and Court ordered defendant bound over to Seventh District Court to stand arraignment on November 14. In a Civil matter, Court found in favor of Plaintiff, Russell I Schafer, and against defendant, David Butterfield Sr., in the - amount of $255.67, plus fees and court costs of $51. Hon. Defendant released on own recognizance after paying $400 bail. Vernon Patrick Harrison entered a plea of guilty to possession of illegally taken protected wildlife, a class A misdemeanor. Court ordered defendant to pay a fine of $1,000 and be imprisoned in the county jail for 100 days. Jail sentence and all but $300 of the fine suspended on condition that $300 be paid in full by November 5. Charlie Begay entered a plea of guilty to Andrew five counts of possession of . Preliminary hearing set for November 29 for Cordie Garcia, charged with distribution of a controlled substance, a second degree felony. Defendant released on her own recognizance. Schafer, who entered a plea of not guilty to unlawful purchase,, possession, or consumption of alcohol by minors, a class A misdemeanor. The jail sentence on each count and $700 of each fine will be suspended on the condition the defendant pay $1,500 within two weeks.
