On Friday the Bucks hitched their wagon to a Mayflower bus and headed north to Sunnyside to meet the East Carbon Vikings. The Vikings turned out to be a much friendlier foe. The Vikings, who key their offense to 8 Justin Brady, looked like a good physical match with the Bucks. But the Bucks took the game right to Brady and put him in early foul trouble. Brady watched most of the game from the bench. Without Brady, the Vikings were unable to stop the MHS inside game. Scoring time and time again from inside, Ryan Nielson, Davey Adams, Dain Allred, Travis Forrest and Adam Bronson took the Viking defense apart. With the game in doubt, the Vikings chose to foul the Bucks in the final three minutes in an attempt to get possession of the ball and try for three-poishots. The strategy failed.
