I hear they are planning a trip to Mexico in the near future. Ineze Wilson has returned from Thoreau, New Mexico, where she visited relatives. She enjoyed the grandchildren and helped with a day care center her granddaughter Jennifer is operating. It sounds like an interesting place. The small children seem to either be in perpetual motion or all wanting to be cuddled and loved at the same time. I went to Farmington for a day with my son Ted, his wife Joyce, and my grandson Eric. Farmington had a lot of snow but it was so warm, rivers of water were running down the streets, and we stepped out of the car into so much slush it seemed to reach our knees. Every now and then I have a visit from an interesting, but unwelcome guest. I leave the door to my porch slightly ajar for the convience of my cat. The cat food is just inside and the slightly opened door allows him to leave after he eats. The only problem is the aforementioned guest can also use the door to get in and eat the cat food. I have opened the house door several times to be treated to the spectacle of a huge skunk eating happily away. Needless to say, my door is shut in a hurry. The other night I heard the porch door and surmised it was my skunk. Sure enough, there he was. I shut the house door and was grateful my grandsons usually get home late. However, on that night, they came home early, opened the e door and came with our visitor. The grandsons went in one direction and skunk went the other. Since then Ive made a deliberate attempt to keep the porch door tightly shut. It is not easy for my cat, or me, as I have to let him out, but there are not so many traumatic experiences for face-to-fac- hasnt sprayed 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. The dance will be a sock hop and will run from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. at the San Juan High gym.
