Monticello mothers under the direction of Colleen Bronson have set a goal to raise $750 during this years march, said Doreen Hendrickson, March of Dimes Mothers March representative for Southern Utah. Last year Monticello raised over $700. We appreciate the support Monticello always gives the Mothers March, said Hendrickson. Mothers March is the first big event in this years celebration of The March of Dimes 50th For 50 years anniversary. weve been dedicated to helping families prevent birthi defects, said Hendrickson. We hope to get a lot of support during our 50th year anniversary Mothers March, said Hendrickson. The March of Dimes is still in need of volunteers to help in this years march. People interested in participating should contact their local March of Dimes office. If you cant volunteer, you can still offer your support by giving when your neighbor knocks on the door, said Hendrickson. If but one of his two adult Richard Hyde Pehrson passed away January 2, 1988 in Grand Junction, Colorado after a lingering illness. He was born July 25, 1924 in Monticello, Utah to Rodney and Josephine Hyde Pehrson. Richard and Nola June Zufelt were married on July 21 , 1947 in the Manti Temple ofthe Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-DaSaints. He is survived by his wife, Nola June of Monticello; son, Steven of Bluff, Utah; daughters, Teri Henrie of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Paula Morgan of Rangely, Colorado, and Debbie Black of Pleasant Grove, Utah; 12 grandsons and three granddaughters; his mother and two sisters, Geneil Munson and Anna Lee Burten-shaw- , mistresses left for a time, he was miserable and unhappy. This time they would both be leaving and he would be away from his home base. Children often have the ability to pit one parent against another to achieve their desired results. Tourism conference The Governors Conference of Tourism, sponsored every year by the Utah Travel Council to promote discussion of industry issues and ideas, is scheduled for Thursday, February 4, 1988 at the Red LionSalt Lake (formerly the Sheraton Hotel and Towers). There were a few difficult days for Yorky wherein it was obvious that he did indeed feel abandoned and unloved, and his loneliness was evident throughout his entire stay.
