We had potluck dinner, which is interesting as it features both Navajo and Anglo dishes. After dinner, Stan Bronson provided music while we sang along. The elementary school had class parties during the week before Christmas and on December 23 had a program for the public. Kindergarten students presented two plays and sang a song. First graders sang three songs. Second graders sang two songs. The program ended with the fourth, fifth, and sixth graders singing several songs. For the last song, the lights were turned out and the students lined the hall holding lighted candles.
