Hawaii seems (to many who have been there) like heaven on earth due to the exotic profusion of flowers and lush foliage. How delightful that these two daughters could spend time with their mother in such a beautiful setting. Pearl Bayles is a patient at San Juan Hospital. Hope she is soon feeling better. On Tuesday evening, Aroe and Ellen Brown entertained several of their family members who came from various places to attend the funeral for Cora Smith of Monticello. Among those who came to their home were Ilo and Alice Brown from Tremon-to- n, Utah, Mary Ellen Anderson and daughter, Cora, from MinElmer Hawkins from nesota, Louisiana, Earl Hawkins from and Dave and Vella Provo, Hawkins from Wyoming. Phoebe Ekstedt is in Mercy Hospital in Durango for tests. Cheerio, Phoebe, hope you are home soon. On Sunday, Ron and Myrtle Davis and Joe and Freda Hunt drove to Mexican Hat to help their brother, Emery Hunt, eat his birthday dinner. Needless to say, it was a super dinner their and prepared by Maude, and an en- joyable afternoon and evening.
