Solar energy meeting The Utah Solar Energy Trade Association, a newly formed non- profit organization, has set its first general meeting for Saturday, June 25, at 9:30 a.m, in the State Office Building auditorium, State Capitol complex. The voluntary group expects to set standards for business conduct of association members, and to promote use, better understanding and development of solar and other renewable energy re- sources. The meetingis by the Utah Energy Office and will co-spons- ored cover membership obligations, election of a board of trustees, a discussion of association bylaws and meetings of standing committees. All representatives of solar and renewable energy businesses and concerns in Utah are encouraged to attend. The tournament is sponsored by the Monticello Fast-pit- ch League in cooperation with San Juan County Recreation the Department and the Monticello Chamber of Commerce. The tournament is limited to 16 teams and each team is guaranteed three games. All games wiU be officiated by registered A.S.A. umpires. On June 25 at 8 ajn. bring your rakes , hoes, shovels and pickups to the downtown area and help spruce up the city. A luch of hot dogs and pop wiUbe served free to all those who help with the labor. The more the merrier. The Coca Cola company is donating free pop and Holsum buns for the event. The Chamber of Commerce will provide the weiners and the cooks.
