Her expenses will paid by the San Juan Farm Bureau. Cyndi won first place in the Senior Division last Thursday in Blanding for her rendition of the song I Cain,t Say No from the musical Oklahoma. First place in the intermediate division went to Kirsten, Krystal and Joanna Keele for their vocal from trio Matchmaker Sift dry ingredients, cut in shortening. One of the new teachers in the San Juan District is a hometown girl, Maralean Tahy, first grade teacher at Albert R. Lyman in Blanding. Maralean is a product of the many continuing educational opportunities available here. She is married to Notah Tahy and they have five children. Maralean graduated from Brigham Young University.
