The fungus is active during cool wet weather, which has been common this spring. The damage caused will be more evident during the hot weather when the grass dies under the stress of the heat. Symptoms: Common in the spring and fall, the disease is favored by prolonged periods of cool air, high humidity and slow grass growth. Moisture is required for infection. S mall circular water-soaklesions turn dark purple and enlarge to the leaf edges. As they enlarge the center of the lesions turns born and eventually pale tan or dull white. He has three things wrong with his lungs. Had taken. Dont think he has cancer but he sure feels sick. We are close to the doctors office and also to the hospital. So many good people in this area who have offered to help us. Most people in this mobile park are rex-r- ays tired people and we are so thankful to be here. We have a very nice place to live in. I will always have happy memories of my time spent in Bluff. It was so good of you to write. Bud was glad to hear you had not forgotten him. If he does get better soon, I will write again.
