Don and Joan Smith and their four children are in Gunnison and Pleasant Grove, Utah, this week visiting their folks and having a little vacation with their children. They returned home last Thursday. Keith Johnson graduated from Aero Tech School last Friday. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Johnson, were unable to make it to his graduation so drove there the next day for a visit and to bring him home. The wee miss will be named Ida Elizabeth. On June 1 Mr. and Mrs. Bart Lyman went to Provo to be at the naming and blessing of a new granddaughter, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Roby. This is the Roby s first child, and she received the name Micia Roby. and Ed Keele Yvonne and Ida NielSon went to Orem last weekend to be at the baptism and confirmation of Shirlene Keele. Shirlene is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Keele and a granddaughter of the Ed Keeles and a great - granddaughter of Ida Nielson. The Tom Keeles have triplets who are 10 ROUND ROAST Blanding Utah Stake went to camp in who girls the Devils Canyon area last weekend returned home after having had a fine time for three days camping. The 2nd Ward girls won first place as having the best camp. the skates. Blanding 4th Ward is saddened over the moving of the Ramon and Carol Black family, who are moving from our midst to make their home in Smithfield, Utah. These camps were so completely equipped that it was almost like being at home as far as modern conveniences were concerned. You Boy Scouts could learn a lot from these girls. Geraldine Jack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jack, left the first of the week for St. George, Utah, to attend beauty school. She recently received a scholarship to attend this school. We wish her a lot of success. Sunday in 6th Ward Marta McDonald reported her recent mission to the Raiwan area. She is a daughter of the Ken McDonalds. Marsha Keele left Tuesday for Nampa, Idaho, to attend the wedding of a niece. Daddy Steven Keele stayed home to take care of the kids. Cub Scout Pack 309 of the combined 6th and 7th Wards will have a father and son June 26 at the activity roller skating rink. The time will be from 6 to 8 p.m. After the skating is over awards will be presented to those who have earned them and refreshments will be served.
