She went from here to Lehi, Utah, where her sister, LaReta Coledge, joined her, and from there they drove to California. They went to two-we- ek visit their sister, Anne Har- who had just returned vey, home from the hospital after major surgery. They had a nice visit with Anne before returning to Blanding. Anne was feeling somewhat better when they left. Anne is a former Blanding resident. her We wish a. speedy recovery. Mrs. Althea Christiansen is ill in the San Juan Hoand it spital in Monticello, would be nice for her friends to call and visit her. Three babies were blessed in 4th Ward on Sunday and received names. The infant son of Debbie and Kim Acton pot-lu- ck was named Kim Eric Acton by his father, and the infant daughter of Jon and Jackie Hunt was named by her father and given the name of Janis. Also at this meeting twins, Bryan Fred and Ryan Paul, sons of Mike eight-year-o- ld and Lynda were Holliday, confirmed by their grandfather, President Fred Halliday, and Tonia Hosier, who is 8 years old, was confirmed by her father, Robert Hosier. On Friday evening Mrs. Theressa Redd entertained at a dinner for members of her family who within a couple of weeks had three birth- days. Those honored guests were Truman Rigby, who had a birthday March 20; Shar-lyn- n Redd, whose birthday was March 27, and Craig whose birthday was Redd, April 2. The menu consisted of ham and accompanying goodies. Everything was in the Easter theme. Thirteen of Mrs. Redds family were in attendance at the dinner. Dont forget, there will be no ward meetings here in Blanding in any of the seven wards this Sunday, April 6. because of general LDS conference in Salt Lake City. These services will be broadcast over Channel 5 TV at each session from the Mormon Tabernacle. All church members are urged to tune in each session and listen with their families. There will also be no ward meetings here in either of Blandings seven wards on April 13 because of Blanding Utah Stake conference, to be held here in the North Chapel. Church members are pleased to learn that Elder Bruce R. McConie will be the general authority from Salt Lake attending this conference.
