Norman Gage, formerly of Monticello, is director of the college's honors program, an English teacher, post curriculum developer and a published song writer. He is married to the former Diane Murdock, and they have seven children. They live in Sugar City. John Nielson, formerly of Blanding, is a teacher in the geography department and second counselor in his bishopric. He and his wife Sharon have five children and live in Rexburg. Our faculty is made up of men and women who are highly professional and dedicated, and have the welfare of more than 6,400 students Buck Wilson, Norman Nielson and Curly Wallace saddle up horses, pack mules and burros for the upcoming trail ride into Bluff. The trail ride, part of the Centennial celebration, will begin April 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the junction of highway 163 at Comb. Anyone looking for a good time and a chance to relive pioneer history is invited to participate. The only requirements are a mount, two meal's worth of grub, and a bedroll. The riders will join with marathoners from Escalante for a campfire program and ride into Bluff the next morinng for the day's festivities. This will include a beef barbecue lunch, tours, exhibits, games, races, dancing, and food for sale.
