Chris Barfuss of the Senior Sunday School gave a talk and paid special tribute to his own father and all fathers Third Ward also had a Fathers Da program. Am Watkins gave a Fathers Da poem. Leslie Shumwa gave a Fathers Da talk. Lynn Laws spoke and the Junior Sunda School children sang songs. Return home testimonial services weie held for Eldei Steve Palmer m 3rd Waid Sacrament meeting on Sunday. Terry Palmer gave the opening prayer. Becky Palmer spoke, and Jeanne Redd plaed a piano solo; then the missionary spoke and 1 a lor Palmei gave the closing prayei. Welcome home, Steve. All the youth who are going to Youth Confer ence are asked to meet at the South Cultui al Hall parking lot at 3 a.m. Monday morning and will return Wednesday evening. It will be in Provo. Dave W'ebb and Alan and Freeda Guy mon have just returned from a rune day vacation into parts of aliforma. There were 41 members of their family along to enjoy such places as Disney C -- land, Marine Land, San Diego zoo, Knotts Beny Farm, Wild Animal Safari, etc. Everyone along really had a ball. Everyone of the group wore a yellow shirt so no one got separated from the rest of the bunch. First Ward speakers m meeting Sunday evening were Mr. Carole Howell and Arvid Black followed by Bishop George Bayles. All Blanding High Priests of Blanding Stake are urged and invited to attend the High Priests party held at the Blue Mountain guest Ranch with their wives and partneis. Dinner will be served promptly at 6 p.m. Bring your own dishes and fiat ware. These parties are always fun times. We hope our own Gertrude Shannon has a safe trip and a delightful one visiting children m Missouri.
