Show Hospital adds health service CO l o by Janet Wilcox An added dimension in health care is available at San Juan County Hospital' with the services now provided by respir- IO a atory therapists. Gary French, who started work at the hospital November 1st, 1975, and BiU Christensen, who began training February 2nd, work with approximately 20 of the patients admitted to the hospital. MUSICIANS, MHS students score at state Several students represent- ed" Monticello' High School at the State Solo and Ensemble Festival last Saturday. The festival was held at Viewmont High School in Bountiful. Over 300 students from throughout the state participated. Sandra Robinson received a Superior rating for her vocal solo. Charlene Hansen received a Superior rating for her flute solo, and the girls vocal ensemble received a rating of Excellent. The girls vocal ensemble was comprised of Shela Bailey, Susan Miller, Sandra Robinson, Lorraine Thomas, Marrea LeAnn Evans,. ' Lillian Montano, Thomas, Charlene Hanson and Janie . The San Juan High School by Janet Wilcox All history buffs in the area are urged to come to the Bland-in- g Library to see the historic photography display prepared by Mike Hurst. Hurst compiled over 300 of the best photos taken of the area as part of a project funded by the State Historical Society two years ago. He selected for display 60 of the photos he believed would be of the most interest to residents .in the Blanding area. It is well worth your time to come up and see.. .and, who knows, you might find yourself in one of the pictures Many of them are copies of phbtos taken by Charles Goodyear in 1 the Bluff area. Junior Class proudly an- nounces its Junior From to be held Friday April 16. This yearfs theme centers around the song Nights in White Satin. The dance is scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m. and kwill last till midnight, with the 10 at p.m. The promenade featured band is Skye. The price of admission is $4 for couples, and $2.50 for singles. The prom promises to be one of the best ever, and the Juniors encourage everyone to come out and support this annual event. The company also provides the equipment used, which amounts to nearly $15,000 in value. The company has contracts with approximately 200 hospitals throughout the country. French has received his Associate Degree from Weber State, which is an A. M. A. approved school, and is a graduate therapist. In March he wiU take both oral and written exams to qualify to become a registered therapist. He also received an associate degree in science from Ricks College.
