Show Trees, shrubs are available from the state The State is Foresters now offering tree 1916 office and shrub seedlings for purchase by the public to be placed for conservation purposes. There are four different presently of shrubs, six species species of deciduous trees and six species of evergreens available. Seedlings may be purchased by two different methods. The first method is in units of 50 per species; order must total 100 seedlings. Purchase price is $10 per hundred. Large numbers, of 1,000 or more, can be purchased for only $75 per 1,000 plants. Seedlings can be used for all purposes except ornamentals. Also offered this year are three bicentennial tree seedling packages. Each package, contains a variety of seven species of seedlings available from the State Nursery. The price is $10 per package. To obtain a seedling order form write to the State Foresters office, 1596 West Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah 84116 or telephone Order forms can also be obtained from State Forestry Area Offices located in Moab, Logan, Heber City, Richfield, and Cedar City.
