Show Rv 1 MHS Marathon Bevery Black Is Engaged Begins May 2 1975 an Juari 24, April Plans Helquist-Clar- k Record Juan The Monticello High School Student Council will sponsor a marathon dance from May 2nd at 2 p.m. until 12 midnight on May 3rd. Local businesses have donated over $100 which will be given to the couple who endures longest. Entry forms canbe picked up at the high school and must be returned with the $4 entry fee by 4 p.m. Thursday, May 1st. In connection with the marathon, there will be a continuous sock-hoAdmission will be 50 for singles, and 75 for couples. All proceeds will go to the Monticello Pep Club and Drill Team. Sponsors invite people of any age to come and test their endurance or just to come and have a good time. p. San The Seek Interest In Garden Club By Janet Wilcox An organizational meeting to form a new Garden Club in Blanding will be held Tuesday evening, April 29th at 8 p.m. at the Blanding Library. special presentation will be given to help gardeners get off to. a good start with their spring A planting. If enough people would show up to warrant formation of a club, officers will be elected and plans made. If not enough interest is shown its formation will be unlikely. Standley. Bevery is a senior at Monticello High School and will graduate in May. Ben is the son of Mr. and Standley of Bountiful, Utah. He is currently employed in Monticello, where he has been living for the past two years. The couple is planning a June 21st wedding. Mrs. William 678-299- is currently serving in the Coast Guard in Yorktown, Virginia. He is a 1973 graduate of San Juan High School. Hurst of Blanding announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachelle, to Alan V. Zobrist, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray V. Zobrist of Las Vegas, Nevada. is a 1971 The bride-ele- ct of Juan San High graduate School. She has also graduated from the Brigham Young University where she majored in special and elementary education. She is currently teaching educable mentally retarded children in St. George, Utah. Her fiance graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1971. He has attended the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. He is currently working withSage Construction Company in Las Vegas, Nevada. The couple are making plans for a June 5th wedding in the Manti L.D.S. Temple, Manti, Utah. Becky Kezerian and Kenneth Pehrson have chosen April 25 as their wedding day. They will be married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Becky is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Nephi K. Kezerian. She graduated from Provo High School and attended Ricks College. She will graduate April 23 as a registered nurse. Kenneth, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Pehrson, graduated from San Juan High School, LDS Mission filled a two-year to the State of Washington, and will graduate from Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho.
