If there were any family reunions or weddings here the past week, I havent heard about them. Seems strange so after many the past summer. Mrs. Margaret Montano is a brand new grandma. Her daughter Viola and her husband have a baby boy born on Thrusday at San Juan Hospital. Looks like Doug Galbraith is sporting a brand new car since painter Jim Barnett of Murray gave it a new coat of paint last week. The rain which we had Saturday morning was much appreciated. We didnt hear if we had enough to measure or not. At least it cooled things off somewhat for us. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon T. Cracroft and Mrs. Pauline Eichenberger of Salt Lake took a drive in their new car Tuesday and arrived in Blanding where they stayed for an hour then drove back that same day. Mrs. Cracroft is the former Ruth Eichenberger. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Jensen Yamhill, Oregon, were overnight visitors in Blanding on Tuesday. They had been to the Jensen reunion in California and were on their way home. They expect to visit in Salt Lake a few days with Mrs. Jensens sister before going home. Mr. Jensen is Mrs. Ruby Bronsons brother. It was good to see our friends the Jensens again. They are lovely people. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of last week the Ernest were Blanding Lisonbees visitors with his mother, Mrs. Pauline Lisonbee. They live in Moab. Ernest belongs to the Jeep Patrol in Moab. Mrs. Dee Galbraith was visiting relatives and friends in town on Sunday. She took dinner with the Leo Blacks. She was on her way home after giving sewing classes in the new knit materials at Bluff, Mexican Hat, and Montezuma Creek. She was happy to re- Its a boy who will have the name of Shawn. No wonder Dee is walking on cloud nine in Orem. Blake Rigby is back to enroll in high school after having spent the summer in Montpelier, Idaho, with his Rigby grandparents, helping on their ranch.
