He brought goodies to all the kiddies in town. Thank you, Mr. Easter Bunny. Max went to a bull sale at Mancos Monday and I went along for the free lunch, thereby missing out on the news (if any) called in on Monday. The lunch might have been worth it, if it hadnt messed up my diet - good ole beans and beef. Oh well, try me again next Monday - stale news is better than none. Its good to see Ty and Linda Lewis and family back in Monticello after spending the winter in Snowflake, Arizona. Enjoying cycling and Easter in the Canyonlands were the Dick, Brent and Jim Lyman families of up north, the Jerry Edwards family of Los Alamos, New Mexico, and Jimmie and Carol Forrest of Monticello. They had Easter church services in a natural chapel in the rocks, followed by an Easter egg hunt for the children. They then rode their motor bikes into Lavender C anyon and other beautiful places. The Lymans, who camped at one of the campgrounds reported it to be so full that people were being turned a-w- ay. grandfather, Lewis Fuller last Elayne Sondregger and Kay -lene Burtenshaw were home last week from spring vacation at USU in Logan. Kaylene graduated from Snow College in Ephriam and has trans- ferred to USU. Havent got to see them yet, but heard that Paul and Galda Strong are here for a short stay after being gone most of the year. Hope they linger awhile. Mrs. Bulah Armstrong and daughter, Delena of Robin, Ida- - Round . Yancy and. Audrey Dalton have purchased a home in Cortez, Colorado, and plan to be moved into it by next week. Allan and Diane Tracy and baby have moved back to Monticello, after living several months in Salina, Utah. Geneil Munson and children spent several days last week (kids spring vacation) visiting her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Pehrson. While here, they all went to Green River to see Richard and family and Nancy and husband, Wayne Ball, who just recently returned from Vietnam. They had an early Easter picnic with the Devon Burtenshaw family at Windwhistle. Friday, the Pehrsons took them as far as Cameron, Arizona, where they were met by Mr. Munson, who had driven there from their home in Lakewood, B dC0n Steak week. Mr. and Mrs. Ace Holden took their daughter Ann and their daughter Mariane of Salt Lake to California over spring vacation. They went to Disneyland (Anns first trip there) to Knotts Berry Farm, where they ran into Berneice and Waldo Allred and Claire and Tom Jeppson and had a short visit with them. They took in the Movieland Wax Museum and Lion Country Safari. They swjmming at Beach and the MisHuntington sion at San Juan Capistrano. They returned home Monday. They went to Grants, New Mexico, on Monday, where Boyd had an appointment for a job interview. The "quilting bee has stung a lot of Monticello women too. Could it be all the spring weddings coming up? Mr. and Mrs. Pat Tracy are the happy parents of a baby boy, Patrick Zane, born last Thursday at the local hospital. He weighed in at 7 lbs.
