Classes for children from through eighth grade were held daily in the church and parish hall. Four Sisters Servants of Mary from Blue Island, Illinois and from Hobart, Indiana conducted classes in religion, art, art crafts, singing, and games. Each days work was terminated by offering the Holy $acrifice of the Mass, to which all parents were invited. All the work of the children was exhibited in the parish hall for the benefit of the parents who attended a farewell party for fiie Sisters. Those volunteer sisters who conducted the vacation school are Sister Mary Felicita, Sister Philip Anne, Sister Mary Assuntina, and Sister Mary Clare.
