The meeting in Monticello will be June 1 at 7:30 p. m. in the public .e library. The meeting in Moab will be June 3rd at 7:30 p. m. at the City Council chambers in the Court House. Montano FISHING SEASON OPENS SATURDAY Pre-Seas- on Forecast Says "Fair" to "Good" for Area The Utah Department of Natural Resources predicts that fishing in the Blue Mountain area will range from fair to good. Forecast is based on recent reports from field men. Here's the story for this area: Monticello Lake- - This is stocked with fish and appears to have a good carryover from last year. Fishing could be very good for the opening. Fov Lake - A large carryover of fish could provide good fishing even though the lake will not be stocked for the opener. Verdure. Spring. Indian Creeks- - These will all be stocked, with fair fishing predicted for the opening weekend. For Lake Powell, they say fishing should be "up" for the opener in the lakejs upper reaches.
