It was good to see Connie Nielson family back again at Church this Sunday after their absence of six years. For the part six years they have resided over the Bluff Branch of the LDS Church. Steven and Stanley Bronson spent the weekend in Provo attending to business matters. The Cold and Green Ball on Saturday evening was well attended and according to attenders, they had one of the best floor show's ever seen here. Everyone from 12 years to 99 years was invited and several of our older citizens were seen there. A big percent of out BYU students were here last week enjoying the semester break. Many of the students have gone bac k to be there in time for registeration. It was a thrill on Monday to see the pictures and articles in the Deseret News of "Daddy Big Boots and the Korean "tender Apple orphanage group. Daddy Big Boots, of course is our own Stanley Bronson. It tells of his work among the orphanage in Korea and of the work he has done and is doing there. He has organized 90 of these orphans into a chior. Since his release from the service there he has set up a foundation for hundreds of needy children there. He has made a record that Mrs. Jess Grover, who recently underwent surgery in Salt Lake City is getting along as well as can be Jexpected and hope it wont .be long until she can return home. Jess went with her to be with her until .she is out of intensive care. Peter Bishop and old timer land resident of White Mesa is the newest patient at the Nursing Home. He is in hopes that his friends will call and ! re- cording hteir beautiufl birthday of their grandson, Fritz Lloyd. The Pipkins also visited Mr. and Mrs. Bob Dalton and family. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Boyle recently attended the Utah Farm Bureau Insurance Service Annual awards banquet at the Fort Douglas Country Club. Eddie was presented a trophy for top honor in the Home Owner awards. Her students had brought all the refreshments for a birthday party and celebration. Mrs. Lyman teaches 4th grade. Mr. and Mrs. Craig Ney of Salt Lake City came Saturday to attend Jana Redd and Ronnie Youngs wedding.
