The four, Margaret Stolworthy, Joan Allred, Susan Allan and Phyllis Welker, enjoyed their stay in Blanding and the beautiful scenery they saw each weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Cleal Bradford spent several days on business in Salt Lake this past week. Young John Seely has leased the Maverik Service Station north of town. He also manages the Phillips 66 station. Kay Howell is working with him as mechanic. Maverik has been operated for several years by Denton Jones, who is retiring. passed away in Las Vegas but was buried in Salt Lake City. He was the father of Harry Terry who taught school in Blanding for several years and who is now teaching in Samoa. The Terrys were unable to return for the funeral.
