About 18 jeeps were camped near Recapture Court, making it their headquarters. The club, supervised by Jim Maybe and Ray Rustad, visited many of the scenic attractions in our area. When asked how they came to choose San Juan County for their outing, we were told that several individuals of the group had visited the area and recommended it for the entire group. The club takes only two major trips each year, one on Memorial Weekend and the other on Labor Day. We are proud our area was selected as their vacation spot.
