Show Redd Services draw throngs Hundreds of friends gathered at the LDS Church last Friday afternoon to pay their respects to L. Frank Redd, eminent County citizen and friend. Cooper Jones of Monticello conducted the services with organ music provided by Mrs. Donna Redd. A family prayer was offered by A. Jay Redd, brother to the deceased, with Doyle Rowley and Charles Redd also offering prayers. A ladies trio raised their voices in song and a mixed chorus sang two numbers. Iva-lRedd sang a solo for her ou father-in-la- w. For the Best Breakfast C. Alfred Frost, a gave the obituary and remarks were given by Fred H. Evans, Don R. Barton, J. Wesley Norton ard President Leland W. Redd. son-in-la- w, Acting as pallbearers for their grandfather were Spencer Frost. Dan S. Frost, Homer Smith, Redd 1L Smith, Vernon S, Redd, Grayson W, Redd, and Scott B. Redd, as well as a close friend Thomas E. Redd. Bishop F. Bennion Redd dedicated the grave fer his father at the cemetery and the mixed chorus sang "Blessed Are They That Have Faith. " Mr. Redd passed away on April 24 in San Juan Hospital following a lingering illness. Mr. and Mrs. Sahn Bohn and their five children of McGill, Nev. , spent a week visiting and Sahn helped Lynn work on the refrigerator system for the Blanding Mercantile addition. Also visiting at the Lynn Lyman home were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Weagle and son Eddie and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Foy and children. The Foys visited with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Foy, also. Kathleen Guymon, a student nurse at Holy Cross Hospital, and her brother Lawrence, a student at the University of Utah, were home visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Guymon over the weekend. She attended the ceremonies at Assembly Hall in Salt Lake City for the installation of the 1968 Mother of the Year, Mrs. Dsie Farnsworth, as well as visiting with her sisters in Salt Lake City and with son, Francis and his family. Several people from Blanding attended the funeral in Salt Lake City of Daniel Perkins, a former resident. Mr, Perkins had lived in Bluff for several years and then in Blanding.
