Carson, noted for his trick horses and dogs, will also furnish stock for the Frontier Day rodeo. The rodeo will be held July 2 and 3 at 8 p.m. Carson will also bring with him his $5,000 saddle and will ride in the Frontier Day parade. He rides each year in the Pasadena Rose Parade. Sen. Moss said that Mr. Hartzog told him that the Department is willing to consider such a change in name, but that their present position is that Glen Canyon Recreation Area is appropriately named. Mr. Hartzog pointed out that Lake Powell is a prominent feature of the whole Glen Canyon region, but it does not constitute all, or even a major part, of the national preserve. Sen.
