Show Scouts discover multitude of residents are 'unsafe' Monticello Scouts, working on programs for safety merit badges, came up with some startling figures on the unsafe practices of local residents in a three-hou- r period Monday morning. The Scouts, positioned in the post office from 8 to 11 a.m. Monday, observed 11 different types of safety violations. Listed by the type of practice and the number of incidents, the report of the three-hou-r vigilance was as follows: News from Mexican Hat ' , Reckless driving (erratic passing, lane changing, etc.) 18 It should be a relief for residents, however ,to note that the surrveilance was for research purposes only.
