SHOW PROPOSES Jim Black proposed to the chamber that a local talent show be taken to Monument Valley when the John Monticello High schools football eleven proved too much for the Dolores, Colo, squad on the Dolores gridiron Friday evening and passed and drove their way to a lopsided 31-final score. Results of the contest were never in doubt as Monticello scored three TDs in the first period, another in the second and a seven-pointe- r in the third quarter. Responsible for the TDs were Howard Nielson with one; Jensen with Stephen three glory runs, two on runs and one on a pass; and Clyn L. Young, who ran for his score. Only one extra point was successfully converted by the Buckaroos. Coach To mBurr expressed optimism this week with the first home game against Norwood, Colo, coming up at 1:30 p.m. Friday. Coach Burr said junior Jim Scrogum looked good at the quarterback slot last Friday and may start the Friday game. Eddie Allred, a freshman end, also showed promise and will probably see more action in the future to enable him to take over the end position now held by senior Randy Corbin after Randy graduates. Coach Burr also praised the 8 SE Ml Wl.V.'W'Wi i n wi inirl tsu By Norman E.
