The Wolfs and the Clug-ston- s finally got the trailer finished with a few hours to spare on their deadline. By now, I imagine, Billy Wolf and Don Clugston are all settled down and ready to take up their college studies. The Bill Tuckers are home after vacationing in Texas. They flew down in their plane. Other Texas visitors out our way were Carl Buttrills brother Dee and family. Ralph Davis of Pine Bluff, Arkansas has been out here for a while helping the Calvary Church with a training union enlargement program. mTmimitmodLiiQH IMERICM (EWSPAPEI lEPIESENTATIVES MR. AXD MRS. UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR BUREAU OF LAND Conduct and skill go hand in hand or so it would seem after the first successful firings of the Pershing missile from San Juan County this week. Troops and personnel affiliated with the missile operation have shown in their contacts with the civilian populace of San Juan cities that they possess a high degree of courtesy and friendliness and on the firing line this week they proved that they also have the skill and knowledge to get their specialized weapon off and onto its target expediently. To be sure there were delays and cancellations but many of those were probably for safety reasons that would not occur during actual tactical use of the Pershing. We offer our commendation to these personnel for both their conduct and skill. Anyone that can shoot a bullet nearly 400 miles and hit a target a pat on the back. deserves certainly MANAGEMENT NOTICE OF CONTEST TO: N.
