A tentative club events was prepared for the calendar of coming year which will be announced later. The Council is enthusiastic in their efforts to make 4-- clubs available to more county youths in 1961. They feel that the variety of projects offered should be able. to reach the interest of most of the young people. These projects include: Home Grounds Clothing Photography Beautification Foods Dogs Rabbit Home Improvement Tractor Pony Clubs Crafts Gardens Electricity Entomology Weeds Crops Livestock Range Management. San Juan County 4-- Council members guiding the 1961 activities are: Mrs. Yvonna Hoggard, Monticello, president; Mrs. Bonnie Meyers, Blanding, vice president; Mrs. Merrilene Fuller, Monticello, secretary; Mrs. Inez Bryan, Monticello; Mrs. Mary Lou Hoggard, Monticello; Mrs. Louise Harvey, Eastland; Mrs. Dorothy Guymon, Blanding. H The 268 San Juan County 4-Club members of America join with 2,302,000 other who belong to 94,200 clubs throughout the 50 H 4-H'- states and Puerto Club Week. Rico in observing National 4-- H as unpaid volunteer leaders, and guide work in local communities throughout the country. We are proud of the COUNTY 1. 250 4-- HIGHLIGHTS H attended 4-- H Club Camp. 4-- H H 4-- The Clubs held Safety Program. 2. Blanding 3. One Monticello Club won a Health paU record speaks for itself: there were ments made along with 117 articles of clothing, 37 Home Improvement articles, 76 articles in Leathercraft, 1 room was redecorated, 6 calves raised, and 1.5 A. of garden was raised. Yes these are living up to their theme "Learn, Live, Serve through H 4-- H 2299 dishes prepard, 472 meals served, 264 H ed bicycle Safety program to Local 4-- Clubs. 4. County Commissioners presented 235 members with completion certificates. 4-- H H Club members everywhere are sharing honors with some 302,500 men and women who serve 4-- 4-- ." I r LEADERS in club work recently attended a training Bchool at Utah State University.
