Halliday July 20 A 44 year old defendant was in court for a review hearing on one count of failure to stop at the command of police, a third degree felony; one count of driving under the influence, a class B misdemeanor; and one count of speeding, a class C misdemeanor. The defendant pled guilty to all charges. The court authorized the defendants release on the condition that he continue IOP and attend AA and become gainfully em- ployed. A review is scheduled for Aug. 17. A 29 year old defendant was in court for sentencing on one class A misdemeanor charge of attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a 1617 year old, and a class A misdemeanor charge of unlawful salesupply of alcohol to a minor. The defendant pled guilty. The court requested more information from the defendant regarding his employment before judgment is pronounced. Matter is continued to Aug. 17. A 22 year old defendant was in court for a review hearing on one class A misdemeanor charge of simple assault. Following the defendants address to the court, the court scheduled a review for Aug. 17. A 50 year old defendant was in court for a review hearing concerning one third degree felony charge of automobile homicide and one class A misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of alcohol drugs. The defendant had pled guilty. The court authorized the defendant released from incarceration on a trial basis for 45 days. The defendant is to report to the Emery County Detention Center every week. The defendant is also to provide the court with proof that he has allocated the money saved from traveling expenses associated with work release to the victims in this matter. The court also wants to be privy to all developments in the civil matter associated with this defendant. Counsel is to report in 45 days. A 40 year old defendant was in court for a post sentencing judgmentcommitment on one third degree felony charge of attempted theft.
