They are the parents of Terri (Ron) Bird, Carryl (John) Tatton, Garth (Clovis) Carlson and Jana Rae (Kent) Gunderson; 16 grandchildren, one Gene and Janis celebrated with a trip through the Scandinavian countries and Russia. great-grandchil- d. Clark and Claudette Powell celebrated their 50th anniversary. The couple was married in the Salt Lake Temple June 25, 1953. They are the parents of seven children, Randy (Lynnette), Zachary (Debbie), Corey (Myrna), Gretchen (Ken) Miller, Phillip (Molly), Prudence (Bruce) Sherman, and Joshua.
