Karen Stefanoff WELLINGTON Karen Jeanette Stefanoff, 56, died July 1, 1995 in Salt Lake City. She was born Jan. 12, 1939 in Roscoe, Calif. She was reared in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. She was the seafood manager for City Market in Price and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints. She enjoyed camping, the ocean and the outdoors. Her family and grandchildren were her life. She was loved and will be dearly missed. She is survived by two sons, Tom (Jennifer) Stefanoff; Ron Stefanoff and his fiancee, Jenny Storrs; her mother. Hazel Mau-pia brother Bill (Judy) Maupin, all of Wellington; two sisters, Kay (Ralph) Lehman and Beverly Mullen, both of Price; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald. Funeral services will be Thursday, 1 p.m., at the Wellington 1st LDS Ward, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at the Wellington City Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary. and great-grandchildre- Mr. Petersen was the owner of Ferron Drug Company for 65 years. He attended the University of Utah and graduated from pharmacy school at Idaho State University at Pocatello. He is survived by two children, Karen Thomas and Jim (Kathy) Petersen, both of Ferron; seven grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren; and a sister, Irma Snow, Ferron. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Leslie. Funeral services will be Friday, July 7, 11 a.m., at the Ferron LDS Stake Center. Friends may call at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale on Thursday from 9 p.m. or at the church one hour prior to services. He was bom July 17, 1927 in Standardville, the son of George William and Ethel Freeman Chubbuck. He was born June 25, 1914 in Torrey, the son of Don Carlos and Mary Evelyn Pendleton. He married Lowell Lavina Boren on Aug. 29, 1947 in Price. He was faithful member of the Castle Country Baptist Church and longtime resident of Carbon County. He was a member of the UMWA and was a harding working man from the time he was 10 years old, working as a sheepher-de- r and later a coal miner to support his mother and family. He raised his family in Castle Gate working in the Castle Gate coal mine. He retired from the coal mines in 1972, but never stopped working in his garden and yard. He loved hunting and fishing with his family. A beloved, kind and loving husband and father who will be dearly missed. He was bom Nov. 20, 1975 in Provo to Phillip F. and Hazel Heiniger Cox. He attended school in Femley, Nev. and later moved Leland served in the JJ.S. Army during World War II. He was a farmer and a businessman. He had resided in Pleasant Grove before moving to Payson. He was active in civic affairs and was instmmental in obtaining the paving of the Nebo Loop and also in obtaining the 800 South offramp for Payson. He was an active member of the Church of 1992. n; Phillip 1994. in Ferron. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She died Nov. 12, PRICE Harrison Lee Melton, 56, died June 30, 1995 in Commerce City, Colo. He was bom July 26, 1939 in Terra Haute, Ind., to James Harrison and Donetta Mortensen Melton. He married Sharon Seeley Sept. 13, 1958 in Price. He was owner of Sta-DRoofing Company, a past master of the Arapahoe Masonic Lodge from 1989 to 1992. He was a lieutenant in the Army National Guard and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da-y Saints. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, Colorado; daughter, Lori Lee Jacy Hunt GREEN RIVER Jacy 0. Hunt, 82, died July 2, 1995 in Price. He was bom Oct. 12, 1912 in Aurora to James C. and May Watson Hunt. He married Vera Bryan, by whom he had three children, Jacy Jr., Jeneal and Patsy. He married Lula Burton, who also preceded him in death with whom he had four children, Grant, Terry, Susan and Barbara. He later married Hallie Smith, who also preceded him in death. ,v.
